Pixel Fix

Wake a stuck pixel with a fast RGB-flashing box you drag over it, plus a slow OLED color-cycle to ease burn-in.

A stuck pixel is a subpixel fixed on one color. You can try a color-changing screen, but it is not guaranteed to fix stuck pixels or reduce OLED burn-in.

You can place the flashing box over a stuck pixel and run it for a while. Use a comfortable brightness and stop right away if it feels uncomfortable. Press ESC to exit anytime.

Pixel recovery is not guaranteed, and this may not help pixels that stay black. It may not reverse OLED burn-in. Results vary by display panel; use this as a reference only.

Fast RGB flash box

A small box flashes red, green and blue rapidly. Drag it directly over the stuck pixel and leave it there.

PHOTOSENSITIVITY WARNING: the next mode flashes colors very rapidly. Rapid flashing can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Do not use it if you or anyone nearby is sensitive to flashing lights. Look away if you feel unwell.

I understand the flashing risk and want to continue.

OLED color-cycle (slow)

Slowly sweeps the full screen through solid colors — gentler, meant to even out OLED burn-in. No fast flashing.

Solid color fill

Fill the whole screen with one steady color to spot stuck or dead pixels against a plain background.

Fill your whole screen with a pure, solid color in one click — white, black, red, green, blue and more. Handy as a soft light source, a background to hunt for dead or stuck pixels, a plain backdrop for photos and video, or to check screen cleaning and backlight bleed. No install, runs right in the browser.

Tip: click the screen or use the arrow keys to switch color, and press ESC to exit. Use a comfortable brightness; the appearance can vary with your display and ambient light.

About This Content

Pixel Fix lets you drag a fast RGB-flashing box over a stuck pixel to jog it awake, or run a slow OLED color cycle and solid fills to check and refresh your screen. The fast-flash mode can trigger photosensitive seizures, so it only starts after you confirm the warning. It does not guarantee recovery, and fully dead pixels cannot be revived — it may only help stuck pixels. Runs right in the browser, no install.
